

Our modules for professionals
This e-learning course is designed for staff who assist ageing individuals with disabilities to live independent and full lives. It provides staff with essential skills and tools to effectively meet the unique and diverse needs of this vulnerable group, including:
· Gaining an understanding of their specific needs and rights
· Developing stronger collaboration and relationship-building skills with both individuals and community-based service providers
· Enhancing communication skills tailored to this population.
The course aims to improve staff’s ability to deliver high-quality care to this vulnerable group.

Module 3 – Establishing Trust and Respect for Autonomy
This module will enable staff members to develop the skills and attitudes necessary to build positive relationships with emphasis on trust and emotional support, to enhance the social inclusion of ageing people with intellectual disabilities.

Module 1 – Effective communication and collaboration skills for staff
This module will enhance community engagement, communication, and collaboration skills for professionals working with ageing people with intellectual disabilities. Participants will learn to foster positive community relationships, advocate for inclusion, and collaborate effectively with team members to create a supportive environment.
Module 2 – Stress Management and Burnout Prevention
This module focuses on building healthy coping mechanisms, enhancing team support and communication, and improving time management skills of staff.
Participants will learn to manage stress effectively, foster better communication within teams for mutual support and develop strategies to prioritize tasks and boost productivity.
